Title: Semantic Strength between Textual (linguistic) and Non-textual (non-linguistic) content of scientific papers

Abstract
The authors primarily use the text (in the form of words) to express the content of the scientific papers. In other words, the text is the carrier of scientific knowledge. Also, the text is supported by non-textual/non-linguistic components such as figures, maps, diagrams, photos, numerical data tables, illustrations, etc. The textual and non-textual data in a paper are inseparable in a perfectly woven text. A non-linguistic is an actual or possible derivation from the sentence that has not been associated with the original or primary intent of the communication. However, in a few scientific papers, this non-textual data is used as a spin to convince peers and readers. These papers do not have much semantic interaction between textual and non-textual data. With the help of a few illustrations, this talk discusses conceptual and semantic strength between textual and non-textual content. I will address the pragmatic ways to measure the conceptual links.
