Abstract:

As real-time intelligent systems continue to transform industries and enhance human experiences, the role of artificial intelligence (AI)in driving these innovations becomes increasingly significant. This keynote address, titled “AI-Driven Real-Time Intelligent Systems: Shaping the Future of Digital Knowledge Management,” explores how AI,particularly in large language models (LLMs), is revolutionizing digital libraries and knowledge management. The presentation will cover integrating AI technologies within smart digital libraries, focusing on real-time data processing, content-based and collaborative filtering, and hybrid models that allow these systems to adapt dynamically to user behaviours and preferences. By leveraging these technologies, digital libraries can provide personalized, context-aware experiences that meet the demands of today’s fast-paced, information-rich environments. Attendees will gain insights into the architecture of AI-driven recommendation systems and the critical role of real-time processing in delivering timely and relevant content. The discussion will also address the challenges of scalability, data privacy, and ethical considerations, which are essential for the responsible deployment of AI in intelligent systems. Real-worldexamples and case studies will illustrate how leading institutions successfully implementAI to enhance research, learning, and public access to information. The session will conclude with exploring future trends, including cross-platform integration and adopting microservices architectures, ensuring that digital knowledge management systems remain agile, scalable, and user-focused. This keynote aims to inspire researchers,technologists, and industry professionals to embrace AI’s transformative potential in real-time intelligent systems, contributing to the ongoing evolution of digital libraries and beyond.

Curriculum Vitae:

Phayung Meesad is currently an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Information Technology and Digital Innovation, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), Thailand. He also was the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Digital Innovation at KMUTNB. Currently, he serves as the Director of Central Library at KMUTNB. Phayung received a Bachelor of Science in Technical Education (Teaching in Electrical Engineering) from KMUTNB in 1994. He received a Master of Science (MS) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical Engineering from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Oklahoma State University (OSU), Stillwater, USA, in 1998 and 2002, respectively. His interests are Computational Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Analytics, Data Science, Data Mining, Digital Signal Processing, Image Processing, Business Intelligence, Time Series Analysis, Natural Language Processing, Big Data, and Cloud & Parallel Computing. Phayung was the general chair of more than 10 international conferences and has published more than 140 publications in Scopus-indexed conferences and journals.
